4. AI-Powered Features

BlueTape-AI uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to parse and organize imported data, including tasks, room names, team rosters, contact information, and appliance inventories. Text you submit through the Smart Import feature is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models. OpenAI processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

We may share your information in the following situations:

  • With team members: Other members of homes you belong to can see your name, email, role, and items you create or are assigned to
  • Service providers: We use third-party services including Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), and OpenAI (AI features) that may process your data
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by our infrastructure providers.
